If you earn less than your baseline earnings no problem, because here is where income smoothing comes in. If we see you have earned less than your baseline earnings, we will top you up with your income balance, if that is not enough to fulfil your baseline earnings then we will top you up with credit (credit is subject to availability).
For example – your baseline earnings is £400 per week and you’re having a slow week and made £300. When your scheduled payment is due it will transfer your baseline earnings that is £400. It will get the extra £100 through your Income balance from your previous earning (when you make more than your baseline earnings). If your income balance is not enough it will top you up with credit (only if you are eligible for it).
